Howdy, I’m Karren Miles from Texas.  I obtained my Master’s in Counseling from University of Houston-Victoria where I graduated Magnum Cum Laude. I passed my National Counseling Exam and completed the hours needed to obtain my Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas in 2020.  I also am working on a certification for Play Therapy. I moved to Maine in October 2020 to work with Turning Point Mental Health Professionals after obtaining my Maine LCPC license.

I provide individual therapy for children, emerging adults, and adults of all ages. I specifically love working with children, due to being a teacher prior to my licensing. I utilize a variety of theories and am focused on Client centered therapy. My therapeutic goal is to have a Client leave a session feeling empowered and uplifted.
